Are you a thrill-seeker looking for your next adventure? Or do you find the hoards of drunken vampires stumbling around Lan Kwai Fong at Halloween lacking the scare factor? Well you’re in luck, because event production company Dorian Concept is turning up the scare-o-meter this year with the ultimate haunted house attraction that is guaranteed to send tingling chills down your spine.
From October 13 to 31, Dorian Concept and Japanese multi-million game developing franchise Capcom Co., Ltd are bringing Hongkongers a hair-raising, adrenaline-pumping video game-inspired haunted house called Dead Rising Reality. Held inside the Riviera Plaza, a real-life abandoned shopping mall in Tsuen Wan in the New Territories, the spooky attraction invites brave souls to follow in the footsteps of fictional photojournalist Frank West, who follows a mysterious lead to a small town, only to find that the town is suffering from a massive zombie outbreak.
After escaping to a local shopping mall, West quickly realises he is trapped inside, and has to fight his way out as he uncovers terrifying truths about the zombie apocalypse. Frightened yet? You should be.
Inside this one-of-a-kind immersive haunted house, participants are tasked with a daring mission to find the ultimate zombie boss before they can successfully escape the mall. Needless to say, this one is not for the faint-hearted. Think we’re overreacting? Well check out this terrifying trailer below and judge for yourself.
If this sounds like your idea of Halloween heaven, then make sure to grab your tickets now. They cost $158 if you buy them before October 11, and from $218 to $238 thereafter. Click here for more information.
