Last month, the Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival made a glorious comeback at the Central Harbourfront Event Space! For those who missed the festivities, or simply want to prolong the tasting experience, the Hong Kong Tourism Board is hosting the popular “Taste Around Town” dining campaign once again. For one month this November, the event hopes to bring gourmet eating and drinking experiences beyond the festival.
“Taste Around Town” brings a wealth of feasting to the whole city, from acclaimed bars and unique pubs to limited-time menus and exciting restaurants. Highlights of this year’s programme include the popular “Hong Kong Bar Show.” From now till 30 November, 60 Hong Kong bars will feature Hong Kong-inspired cocktails, such as the Goeng P at Alibi—Wine Dine Be Social, a gin- and Campari-based cocktail with sweetened ginger vinegar and pineapple soda; the Healthy Monkey at Library Restaurant and Bar, a whisky-based cocktail with green apple, lemon juice, and bitter melon and coconut foam; or the Red Bean Ice at Bar de Luxe, a gin-based cocktail with chestnut liqueur, condensed milk, and red bean soup.
