Shop ‘til you drop while supporting some awesome causes at the seventh annual
Kowloon Bazaar on August 31st. The shopping extravaganza, which will bring dozens of unique local and international vendors together at the Regal Kowloon Hotel in TST, comes at the perfect time for those wanting to stock up on bargain holiday items, with Halloween, Diwali and even Christmas creeping up on us.

The brain child of Print Plus International founders Deepa Nainani and Neerja Sujanani, the Kowloon Bazaar is designed to give Hong Kong SMEs and niche vendors a platform from which to showcase, market and sell their products and services to the masses. Alongside authentic handicrafts, couture, designer wear, household items, gifts, lifestyle services, fashion accessories and jewellery, the event will provide entertainment, product samples, lucky draws, food and beverage and networking opportunities.
Having helped Hong Kong’s SMEs with marketing, design and website services for over eight years via Print Plus, Deepa and Neerja came up with the concept of the Kowloon Bazaar when brainstorming new ways to meet their clients’ needs.
“We look at it as a win-win situation for us, our clients and any businesses who need this kind of exposure. It's collaborative marketing that results in a huge footfall, which in turn, turns into profits for anyone who has the right product or service,” says the duo.
Starting out in its first year with only 20 vendors, the Kowloon Bazaar has grown bigger and better with each event, and this year set to host 60 vendors and around 3,000 shoppers. This is also the first year that international brands have been invited to attend, and shoppers will enjoy the added bonus of being among the first to pick up the annual Hong Kong Resource Guide, a must-have Hong Kong bible of insightful editorial, thought provoking articles and insider tips and tricks.
If that's not enough, all vendors and shoppers contributing to the Kowloon Bazaar can go home with the warm fuzzy feeling of supporting some great causes, with proceeds from past events providing education for young girls in India and eye operations for the poor in Hong Kong and the developing world. This year’s event will continue to raise funds for the Rotary Club of The Kowloon Golden Mile, Hindu group Chinmaya Seva Ashram and Indian charity Jeev Seva Sansthan - so come along and shop yourself smug!
