"Untitled" by King Rhomberg
All the works showcased at BeerArt for the next month have been submitted by Hong Kongers who appreciate the connection between drunkenness and creativity. While there was no stipulation for the works to contain beer-related elements, those that did stood a greater chance of being selected. In fact, TwentyBliss - a Hong Kong organisation inspired by the confidence and confusion that comes with being twenty-something - took the extra step of providing recycled beer bottles to those wanting to create sustainably boozy art. Thirsty for a beer? Check out these Craft Beer stores in Hong Kong They say a picture is worth 1,000 words and “beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy” (debatably uttered by Benjamin Franklin), so let the art do the talking and show the Big Guy your appreciation at the opening night on January 17th.
