On Fridays, we wear pink

It does not take much to show your solidarity—all it takes to be part of the Pink Revolution is simply putting together a pink outfit and making a minimum donation of $150. As an annual campaign organised by the Hong Kong Cancer Fund, the Pink Revolution brings attention to their free health services, and will fall on Friday, 29 October this year. Register as an individual or pool together a group donation with your company or institution, and your funds will be dedicated to a variety of vital support services to breast cancer patients.

Creative and extravagant outfits are much welcomed, so aim for the stars and hit it out of the park! Upload some gorgeous photos of your rosy get-up and you may even be featured on the organisation’s social media accounts. Find out more by visiting the website for “Dress Pink Day 2021.”

One, two step

Every single day, 12 women in Hong Kong are diagnosed with breast cancer. Bringing concern towards this number is the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Association, which is amplifying this statistic through their “Pink Together” online event. Allowing participants to join from anywhere and everywhere, this programme involves a 12-kilometre run, walk, or hike that is logged and then shared virtually.

Whether you are taking part as a sponsored individual or facing the distance beside a crew of fellow joggers, there is sure to be a feeling of shared accomplishment once you cross the finish line together. As a little gesture of gratitude and encouragement, each successful registration includes a goodie bag full of thrilling perks. Find out more on how to sign up by clicking here.
