Don your sombrero and head down to Te Quiero Mucho on Mondays for a buy-one-get-one deal on 12 different kinds of tacos and tostadas. TQM’s modern Mexican take on tacos and tostadas ranges anywhere between $38 to $75 and comes with classic toppings like Baja Fish and Carne Asada, as well as off-beat inventions like Katsu-Dilla, a fried chicken taco with habanero mayo, and The Green, with bell pepper, corn, bean purée, and kale. Central’s wildly popular Mexican joint Brickhouse hosts a Street Taco Platter ($280) deal every Monday and Tuesday, which gets you ten tacos of your choice from their menu, so you can feast on El Pollo Loco with red mole chicken, Piggie Smalls with achiote pork belly, and Protein Pancake 2.0 with wagyu beef cheek and Oaxaca cheese all night long. All tortillas used are gluten-free as well and the tacos go especially well with a Brickhouse Margarita ($150)!

If you’re looking to stay in and enjoy your tacos with a side of Netflix, Taqueria Super Macho is delivering seaside flavours straight to your doorstep with their Taco for Two ($398) deal, which comes with a variety of six Baja- and Jalisco-style tacos, like Habanero-Marinated Steak and Shrimp A La Plancha, plus warm tortilla chips, guacamole, and a selection of house-made salsas. LKF’s Mexican speakeasy Los Sotano serves up a mean street taco, and on Tuesdays, you can feed your spirit as well as your belly with a killer two-for-one deal on tacos that goes past midnight. Los Sotano’s kitchen is lead by Chef Abel Ortiz, formally of Central in Peru, a restaurant led by Virgilio Martínez that’s not left the top 10 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2015. The seven taco offerings here are anything but ordinary and their menu includes the quintessential Al Pastor ($50) with spit-roasted pork shoulder, a light Pescado ($50) of fish and mango salsa, and the unique Lobster Drunk on Tequila ($70)—hey, that’s no way to refer to an imbibing patron, wink wink.
