Your special day only comes around once a year, so why not milk it and take advantage of some of the generous birthday offers around town? Most restaurants will throw in a complimentary dessert or birthday message and candle if you let them know about the celebration in advance, but there are even more exciting perks to take advantage of around Hong Kong. 

From free admission and discount tickets to complimentary food and drinks in some of the swankiest venues in Hong Kong, you’d be crazy not to. Here are some of the best free things to get on your birthday in Hong Kong!

Free admission to Ocean Park

Spend your special day hopping on thrilling rides at Ocean Park Hong Kong, which offers guests free daytime admission on their birthday. All you have to do is secure an online reservation and rock up to the ticket office with your booking confirmation QR code and Hong Kong ID card, and you’re in.

Free perks at Madame Tussauds

Want to spend your birthday mingling with your favourite celebrities on The Peak? The famous waxwork museum, Madame Tussauds, invites you to attend the hottest party of the year—yours!—when you turn up and present your Hong Kong ID card. 

The 2024 birthday offer gives you and one friend admission to the venue at a discounted price, and is inclusive of your two tickets, one VIP digital photo pass, and a guidebook! Free access to Sky100 Observation Deck

Take your birthday celebrations to new heights on the hundredth floor of the International Commerce Centre in West Kowloon. Hong Kong residents can enjoy free admission to the stunning 360-degree observation deck, which offers jaw-dropping views of Hong Kong Island, Victoria Harbour, the Kowloon Peninsula, and Tai Mo Shan. 

The offer can be enjoyed during your birthday month, and if you bring up to three friends with you, they can get 45 percent off their standard tickets, too. Free set dinner and birthday cake at The Peninsula Hong Kong

Can you think of a better way to spend your special day than at the exquisite Peninsula Hong Kong? How about a free set dinner and birthday cake in The Lobby, too?

Free entry at Hong Kong Disneyland

Did you know that if you’re staying at one of the hotels in Hong Kong Disneyland over your birthday, you can enjoy free entry to the park? Upon booking the hotels’ Birthday Celebration Privilege package, the birthday celebrant can enter the park for free once, on the day of check-in or the day after.
