What's New this Year?

More Games

This year promises to be just as fun – if not more – as the organisers are introducing some brand new games, as well as "softer, cuter, and cuddlier" toys to win. Among the new selection are Baby Groot Game, Jurassic World, Shopkins, Minion Football, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

More Circus Stunts

The hugely popular Great Circus of Europe will be returning from the UK for the second year, with a completely new and thrilling line-up of the world’s most jaw-dropping acts to keep audiences on the edge of their seats. This includes witnessing acrobats twisting and turning upside down and the strong man getting run over by a three-tonne truck. Ouch! The Circus will be running 2 to 4 shows per day from Tuesday to Sunday, so there's plenty of opportunity to catch the action.

More Snacks

Hong Kong celebrity chef Christian Yang, known as ‘the Culinary Magician’, will be overseeing and endorsing The AIA Carnival’s food section this year. He will be introducing a special range of 'Carnival Eats', and will be collaborating with vendors to create dishes and snacks that will tantalise the tastes of every palate. We can't wait to hear more!

More Competitions and Photo Opps

Throughout December and January, the Carnival will be running a series of competitions, giving Hongkongers the chance to win great prizes. The first competition will be announced on December 1, so follow the Facebook page and watch this space for updates. And to round off the whole carnival experience, a wide variety of installations and selfie boards will be dotted throughout the site, inviting guests to get snap happy and post their favourites.

Grab Your Tickets

Early bird tickets to the Carnival cost $120 for adults and include 10 tokens to use across the site, while kids can enter for $85 and claim 7 tokens. After the Carnival’s opening on December 14, prices will increase to $130 and $90. Tickets to the Great Circus of Europe must be purchased separately and range from $150 to $400 per person, depending on the seating. All tickets can be purchased now on the AIA Carnival’s website. The AIA Carnival will open to public on December 14 after 6pm. Watch this space for more updates.
