An exhibition dedicated to your digestive system is opening in Hong Kong

By Ching Yuen 10 December 2019

Hong Kong has no shortage of weird attractions, but this one’s going to take the cake. We’ve just received news of a pop-up exhibition that will blow your minds. Say hello to the Amazing Digestive Adventure, Hong Kong’s first-ever interactive exhibition dedicated to the human digestive system!

Presented as the Amazing Digestive Adventure, this interactive exhibition is scheduled to pop up in Kowloon Bay’s Megabox from 18 December 2019 to 29 February 2020. Featuring seven different educational zones with larger-than-life replicas of each stage of the human digestive system, each exhibit will offer sportive games and engaging missions that will play on your senses and take you on a journey to show you exactly what happens after you swallow a piece of food.

The first stage is to enter the mouth and crawl down through the oesophagus to the stomach. Then, your journey continues through the different sections of the small intestine and the large intestine before you exit through the... well, let’s just say the final stop, wink wink. Don’t forget to wipe!

Great for kids and adults alike, we know for sure that we will have the time of our lives at this new exhibition. Who doesn’t want to take part in the unique and humbling experience of being digested and taking a ride on the poop express? Oh, and we will definitely be doing it for the ‘gram!

Tickets to the Amazing Digestive Adventure are available here.

Having lived in Hong Kong, Beijing, and London sure is a fun fact whenever people try to guess Ching’s accent. She loves switching between all these language channels and her “mother tongue” is just determined by how many drinks she’s had for the night! She loves movies, travelling, and exploring cities, from hidden alleys to gourmet dining, so feel free to hit her up if you need any suggestions for dinner!
