All trees collected will be processed and recycled into composting materials to help conserve resources and reduce waste. If you're thinking of bringing in your Christmas tree to be recycled, make sure you don't forget to remove all plastic materials such as tree stands, lightings, and other decorations.
Members of the public are also encouraged to contact the respective collection point in advance before delivery to ensure that your tree is suitable for recycling (CGS will only accept trees of 2 meters or less in height while there is no such limitation at EcoPark).
For more information, be sure to check out the Environmental Protection Department website where there are plenty of other waste reduction tips as well as the latest news and events.
