Tis' the season to be jolly! That's right folks, it's that time of year again to dig out your novelty sweaters, untangle the Christmas tree lights, and put up those festive ornaments. It might not be a white Christmas here in Hong Kong, but it sure is filled with cheer – just take a look at these family-friendly happenings around town.

Disney's Sparkling Christmas

Join Mickey and his friends at Disneyland this Christmas for the most stunning and magical celebration. Aside from feasting into sumptuous holiday menu items and on-the-go treats, you and your family can soak in the holiday festivities as the Magical Twilight Snowfall turns the park into a winter wonderland, and watch all your favourite Disney characters dance and sing as they gather together for the Grand Christmas Ball. Snow White the Panto

The Hong Kong Players are back, and this time they are bringing an all-singing, all-dancing extravaganza to the stage. Snow White the Panto invites kids to join the beautiful princess and her cheeky squad of dwarves as they venture on their quest for justice against the evil queen. The theatre group's unique and hilarious reimagining of this classic fairy tale is guaranteed to have you and your kids rolling in fits of laughter. A Christmas Carol

Storytime at Santa's Secret Kingdom

Fancy taking home a giant teddy bear? Or are you in the mood for a thrilling roller coaster ride? Better yet, how about some exciting circus entertainment? Whatever it is you’re looking for, the AIA Carnival is back once again to give you an unforgettable day by Central Harbourfront. The Snowman & The Bear

Back by popular demand, The Snowman & The Bear combines two heart-warming tales by Howard Blake – The Snowman and The Bear – in one beautiful production. Appearing on the big screen with live orchestral accompaniment, singing, and on-stage narration, this is a Christmas celebration you can’t afford to miss! Jingle All the Way at SuperPark Hong Kong

Avoid the cold weather this holiday and head to SuperPark Hong Kong for a series of joyful and heart-warming "SuperXmas" celebrations. From a fun Christmas storytelling session with silly elves, to meeting Santa Claus and telling him all your secret wishes for the year, there's plenty of festive fun to be had. And don't forget to write Santa a postcard before December 21, as he will pick 10 random cards and read them out aloud via Facebook and Instagram live at 6pm on December 21. The Spirit of Christmas at Lee Tung Avenue

With the iconic Regent’s Street ‘Spirit of Christmas’ light display hovering high above, and a forest of festive trees gathered in the centre piazza down below, Lee Tung Avenue's festive decorations are the closest we will get to a traditional English Christmas in our sub-tropical city. Of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without some snow, and from now until December 31 (on selected dates only) shoppers can enjoy a ‘Snowy Moment’ for 10 minutes on the hour, between 5pm and 9pm. Christmas Academy at ifc Mall

Head to ifc mall this holiday season and prepare for an imaginative journey through time and space at the Santa Academy. Comprised of six interactive checkpoints, the Academy invites kids of all ages to learn everything from how to belly laugh like Santa, to how to make their very own personalised postcards and stickers to share with friends and family. Collaborating with the Northern Lights Santa Academy, a prestigious Santa school based in the US, the ifc Santa Academy installation gives visitors a chance to see how Santa can handle it all during his busiest time of the year. Ice Skating Fun
