Hailing from Los Angeles, the iconic ComplexCon is bringing its unique take on urban culture to the Hong Kong Arts Month programme! From 22 to 24 March 2024, visitors of ComplexCon Hong Kong will experience urban culture first-hand at AsiaWorld-Expo, where some of the most influential artists and creative icons will converge. Here’s what you can look forward to.
For those who aren’t familiar with the event concept, ComplexCon is a festival of pop culture, music, art, food, sports, innovation, activism, and education. Notable hip-hop artists like Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, and Nigo previously performed at the LA-based convention. The latest ComplexCon held in Long Beach consisted of exclusive brand releases, talks from influential minds, and immersive experiences.
As well as shopping for uncommon and limited-edition items like shoes and other in-style trinkets, visitors can also look forward to celebrating pop culture with hundreds of celebrities, influencers, and musicians while taking in live music performances by some of today’s most sought-after artists. As the Asian edition of the popular convention format, attendees can also expect to witness the convergence of creative icons from Asia in a unique East-meets-West edition of ComplexCon.
While the line-up of headlining artists has yet to be announced, fashion and pop-culture icon Verdy has been named the artistic director of ComplexCon Hong Kong! The celebrated designer of popular brands Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth is also known for directing Blackpink’s world tour, Coachella, and ComplexCon Long Beach 2022.
Early-bird tickets are now sold out, and general admissions tickets will be made available in late January. Keep an eye out for more information and stay tuned to the latest updates on the official ComplexCon Hong Kong website!
