‘Tis the season of reunion and togetherness once more, and the time to get your ducks in a row before the Mid-Autumn Festival rush. Hampers are a great alternative to mooncake sets when it comes to gift ideas for your friends and family—baskets filled with edible goodies always impress! Here are some of the best gift hampers you can buy this Mid-Autumn Festival 2023, so you don’t show up to your next gathering empty-handed.

Rosewood Hong Kong is offering two different hampers this mooncake season. The Butterfly Pâtisserie Mid-Autumn hamper showcases the boutique’s signature palmiers alongside chocolate almond cookies, mini egg custard mooncakes, and a bottle of Riecine Chianti Classico, amongst other treats. The Luxury Mid-Autumn hamper includes a selection of traditional goods from The Legacy House such as dried mushrooms, dried conpoy, and abalone, alongside traditional white lotus seed paste with double egg yolks mooncakes and a bottle of Laurent Perrier Champagne, plus other sweets and baked goods. Hampers can be ordered from Rosewood Hong Kong’s online shop and are available for delivery or pick-up from 28 August to 29 September.

The Cakery has put together a selection of hampers and gift boxes for your Mid-Autumn gifting needs. The palmier gift box is filled with two signature vegan flavours of the baked good, chocolate and salted caramel. The Over the Moon hamper features a selection of goodies perfect for friends and families to enjoy, including an assorted vegan palmier box, an oriental cookie box, gluten-free and vegan chocolate granola, and a bottle of red wine. The Joy of Togetherness hamper offers additional items such as a sweet trio cookie box, PoppinRaisins, and a bottle of organic white wine, while the Prosperity hamper combines all of the above into the ultimate hamper.

Shangri-La is once again offering its Heep Hong Charity hamper this Mid-Autumn Festival. Patrons will be treated to a range of offerings, including Summer Palace mini milk custard mooncakes, Shangri-La chocolate, and French red wine. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Heep Hong Society, a local charity dedicated to supporting children in need.

At Island Shangri-La, as many as five hampers are on offer. The Silver, Gold, and Platinum hampers all include the Summer Palace mini milk custard mooncakes alongside other luxury offerings, while the Diamond and Harvest Moon hampers offer the Summer Palace seven-star mooncakes alongside house-made delights, condiments, and champagne and rosé, respectively.

At Kowloon Shangri-La, the Shangri-La 2023 gift set contains a plethora of delights, including the Shang Palace signature mooncakes duet, black truffle sauce, and a chocolate gift box. Also available are the Signature hamper and Deluxe Fruits hamper.

At Kerry Hotel, patrons can indulge in champagne boxes; the Deluxe includes mini egg custard mooncakes from Hung Tong and Dom Pérignon Champagne, while the Premium pairs the same mooncake offering with Veuve Clicquot Champagne.
