Watch Star Wars on the Big Screen with a Live Orchestra

By Sophie Pettit 20 February 2018
In a concert hall not so far, far away ... It's the moment all (original) Star Wars buffs have been waiting. For the first time ever, fans of the epic movie franchise will have a chance to watch Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope on the big screen accompanied by a live orchestra at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre on February 28 or March 1.

The iconic soundtrack, created by five-time Academy Award-winning composer John Williams, is among the most widely known and loved movie themes of all time and won him the most awards of his career. Needless to say, concert goers are in for a movie experience like no other as they get to kick back and enjoy the original 1977 movie that started it all with the legendary score performed by seventy orchestra musicians. Tickets range from $480 to $1,280 and are on sale now at URBTIX, but don't make a wookie mistake and leave it until the last minute to grab them because they're flying off the shelves faster than the Millennium Falcon! As if you needed any convincing to hyperdrive your way over to the Cultural Centre, check out the teaser below.
