Some adventures just can't be told in pictures, and when it comes to having one in Hong Kong, sometimes only an epic video will do. Just take a look at this masterpiece from French couple Albane and Guillaume Thelot Parthon de Von who scrapped the idea of making a holiday photo album to create this stunning video, Hong Kong
With their Nikon D750 in one hand and their seven-month-old son Leo by their side, the couple set out to capture their unforgettable memories of the city during an eight day visit. Shot between playing rounds of golf with the pros at the UBS Hong Kong Open, which Guillaume won as a prize in a golf trick shot competition, the video conveys the beating pulse of our city with breathtaking timelapse shots, dramatic music, and scenes of the family amid the action.
"Hong Kong is bursting with energy and the only way to capture this is on video," Albane tells Localiiz. "We travel a lot as a family and we wanted to make this as a souvenir because we were so inspired by this city that never sleeps."
"For us, the duality between the bays, the buildings, the mountains, and the hilly roads makes Hong Kong a very special place because it is very rare to find these four things in one city. We really wanted to show these contrasts in our video."
Nice work mum and dad!
