1. Hanoi, Vietnam

Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam and the second most populated city in the country. Hanoi sits on the right bank of the Red River and is known for its beautiful architecture and temples.

2. Prambanan, Indonesia

Prambanan (also called Rara Jonggrang) is a 9th century Hindu temple compound in Central Java, Indonesia. The temples feature intricate Hindu architecture and tower over 47 metres (more than 154 feet). Prambanan is dedicated to Trimurti, the expression of God as the Creator, the Preserver and the Transformer. The temples and compound are a popular place for photographers. 3. Chiang Mai, Thailand

Chiang Mai is full of outdoor adventures and fun activities. There are plenty of brilliant opportunities for gorgeous photos in the tropical rainforests, on the tops of tall mountains, and in the hill tribe villages of rural Thailand. You can also find many elaborate Buddhist temples throughout Chiang Mai including the 14th century Wat Phra Singh and 15th century Wat Chedi Luang.

Siem Reap is the entrance to the ruins of Angkor. The popular Cambodian resort town is filled with intricate stone buildings and temples with giant mysterious faces carved into the side. Siem Reap is also a popular tourist and photography destination. From the Angkor Archaeological Park to the silk farms in the lush countryside, there is a lot to see and do here, making for some excellent photo opportunities.

Known for its stunning white sand beaches, steep cliffs, and gorgeous island compositions, El Nido is an incredible destination on the Philippine archipelago of Palawan. Bagan is an ancient city located in the Mandalay region of Myanmar. The Bagan Archaeological Area boasts more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments and monasteries, and the temples and pagodas dot a beautiful green landscape with excellent views. The archaeological zone stretches over 26 square miles, giving you plenty of room to explore all the historical Buddhist sites.
