Japanese 24-hour discount store Don Don Donki opens three more locations in Hong Kong!

By Catharina Cheung 29 September 2020

Donki lovers, rejoice! Three new branches of the Japanese department store concept will open in Hong Kong by early 2021. Jot this down now; the first to open will be at 100QRC in Central on 15 October—across the road from Topshop—followed by locations in O’South Coast at Tseung Kwan O in November, and finally, at Island Resort in Siu Sai Wan in February 2021. You’ll no doubt have already passed it on strolls through Central, so mark your calendars for its grand opening!

Currently, there are already three Don Don Donki stores operating in Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan, and Causeway Bay. Each store has its own unique theme, with products specifically anticipating and catering to the needs of each neighbourhood.

We’ve been told that the new Central store will be themed around a treasure mine, spanning two floors and 12,015 square feet in total. Night owls will no doubt appreciate this 24-hour shopping destination in the bustling heart of the city, good for any last-minute purchases and all kinds of daily necessities around the clock. We also can’t wait to try their Central-exclusive menu for the famous Donki bento—see you there over lunchtime!
