LINE Friends, a set of adorable and memorable characters popularised by the Korean messaging app of the same name, is a giant in the global merchandise industry. The characters were originally created for use as stickers in the LINE app, then eventually expanded into its own line of branded products. In Hong Kong alone, the LINE Friends Store has a total of four branches—located at Sha Tin’s New Town Plaza, Causeway Bay’s Hysan Place, Mong Kok’s Langham Place, and Kwun Tong’s APM—but this latest opening will be the first ever outlet shop. If you’re in the mood for a bite before your next travel adventure, there’s also a themed restaurant at the Hong Kong International Airport.
