A photo of Pok Fu Lam Cemetery has been selected as a finalist in an international photo contest run by
Smithsonian.com. The photo, taken by Hong Kong photographer Brian Yen, was chosen from over 26,500 submissions taken by photographers in 93 countries.

There are 10 finalists in the following categories: Natural World, People, Americana, Altered Images, Mobile, and Travel, the category featuring Yen’s photo.
Yen recently won US$10,000 for his photo,
A Node Glows in the Dark, taken during a trip to Ocean Park. The prize money was awarded for taking home top honours in the ‘People’ category at
National Geographic’s international photo contest this past December.

The public is being asked to vote on
Smithsonian’s website for their favourite photo as part of the Readers’ Choice competition. The winning photographer will receive a US$500 prize. Voting closes March 30 at 5pm (ET). You can
