It’s no secret that Hongkongers are obsessed with food—but chasing down the hottest new openings or working your way through international food neighbourhoods can burn a hole in your wallet. Thankfully, there are plenty of dining promotions to be found around town, from two-for-one deals to deep discounts and free-flow wings, ribs, and mussels, here are some of the best dining deals in Hong Kong.

Frites

At Belgian beer hall Frites, every day is a deal day. This after-work hotspot has not one, not two, but five different dinner promotions, starting from 5 pm until portions run out.

Head over on Mondays for free-flow mussels in six different flavours at $225 per person, or Tuesdays if you want a whole lobster thermidor and Black Angus steak with poutine at just $295. Get yourself over the hump on Wednesdays with $100 Wagyu burgers with sweet potato fries, or save your appetite for the one-kilogramme USDA baby back ribs that are available at $225 on Thursdays. Come Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat Black Angus steaks with bearnaise butter and fries at just $295 a person.

Holy Eats

Other than their famed (and lethal) drinks deals, this Soho favourite also offers some pretty wallet-friendly food promotions, too. Pop by with a pal on Mondays to check out their new Southeast Asian-inspired menu with two-for-one mains, or swing by the next day for the buy-one-get-one-free steaks (and $50 glasses of wine). Missed out during the week? Enjoy two-for-one steaks all night long on Saturdays.

Fini’s

Stone Nullah Tavern and its famous $1 “Beat the Clock” happy hour may be no more, but its spirit lives on in sister brand Fini’s. The casual Italian American eatery does one of our favourite all-you-can-eat deals in town, with unlimited hot wings, fries, and beers coming in at just $109 per person. And it’s not just on once a week or month, either—you can enjoy this promotion between 5 pm to 7 pm from Monday to Friday, barring public holidays.

Psst—looking for more wing nights? We’ve got you.

Beef & Liberty

Just like comedian Will Ferrell, homegrown burger chain Beef & Liberty is all about double trouble—but instead of an irritatingly catchy Eurovision song, theirs is a two-for-one burger deal. Order any burger (except for “The Liberty”) and a drink after 6 pm on Mondays, and you’ll get another burger on the house. Other than The Liberty, the beloved chain offers eight burger options—including the raclette-topped black pepper burger ($138), bacon- and BBQ sauce-topped Notorious P.I.G., and more.

Smoke & Barrel

Start your week off right at Central smokehouse Smoke & Barrel, where you can enjoy unlimited servings of chef Chris Tuthill’s famous cider-glazed baby back ribs and ice-cold Pabst Blue Ribbon for 90 minutes at $388 a head. The ribs, which are smoked to perfection in an imported hickory wood-fired smoker named “The Beast,” come out fall-off-the-bone tender. Come by on Tuesdays for dinner to get this great deal.

Tai Hang Bar & Grill

This pet-friendly neighbourhood eatery in Tai Hang is another purveyor of multi-day deals, with different offers available every weeknight. Mondays bring two-for-one pasta, pizzas, and salads; Tuesday is the time to enjoy a half-slab of baby back ribs with chips, salad, and a bottled beer for $198; get an eight-ounce steak for $198 on Wednesday and add $25 for unlimited fries; Thursday is $150 fajita night; Friday is burger night with all burgers coming with Cajun chips and a drink of your choice for $150.

Wingman

Chicken wing specialists Wingman are well known for their $5 wing Wednesdays—but did you know that they offer a free-flow wings deal during the rest of the week? Starting from $128, you can enjoy unlimited servings of their famous chicken wings for 90 minutes—which gives you the perfect chance to try as many of their wide range of flavours as possible.

The two more expensive free-flow options include more flavour options for wings and free-flow beers and soft drinks. If you fancy more alcoholic options, you can also pay an additional $150 charge to get free-flow beer, spirits, Prosecco, and an extra 30 minutes of eating time. To try more of Wingman’s food, then you can opt for the two-hour all-you-can-eat deal, which includes all flavours of wings as well as their wraps, nibbles, and selected small plates for $350.

This collaboration between AsiaXpat, Dining Concepts, and S&S Hospitality allows you to enjoy two for one mains at a different restaurant every Monday as long as you flash a little black Super Mondays card.
