After enticing crowds in Dubai, Singapore, and Manila, The Dessert Museum finally makes its way to Hong Kong. The new Instagrammable destination in East Point City features different dessert-themed zones just in time for a sugar-coated summer. Put on your best look, everyone, because this hot new spot calls for a photo shoot!

Out of the five zones, Bouncy Tarts is exclusive to Hong Kong, paying homage to the beloved fluffy custard dessert. The giant bouncing egg tart trampoline brings the delectable dessert to life, so burn off extra energy and get your summer body ready with a few fun jumps.

Doughnut lovers can enjoy the six-metre-tall doughnut installation at Doughnut Dream, which features more than 10 different flavours of the saccharine treat for you to admire. Let your inner child roam free and let the doughnut slide whisk you away!

Snap photos next to giant pastel-coloured macaroons in the Macaroon Tea Room, which mimics Hongkongers’ love for afternoon tea. Bubbles are abundant for that extra effect on your photos—no filtres needed. Over at the rainbow-filled Colourful Pops, go for a swing on the hanging cake pops (think a lite version of Miley Cyrus in the Wrecking Ball music video).

If you’re not a fan of how hot it can get in the summer, wind down at the banana-filled Golden Palm Beach instead. Put on VR glasses to check out the museum’s dessert-themed metaverse art exhibition for an added experience. Simply download Vexmeta on your mobile phone and you will get to enjoy interactive games as well as a dessert hunt for a chance to win a limited-edition NFT and other prizes including special desserts!

This new go-to Instagram spot is open for a limited time only, so be sure to drop by East Point City between 14 July and 4 September for a sweet day out.
