By Ching Yuen 20 September 2019

Chicken wings are a classic indulgence that will never grow old. A favourite with kids and adults alike, you can find chicken wings frankly everywhere, but free-flow chicken wings deals? Now that’s something we want to get our hands on.

Wingman

You know you’re at a specialist shop when the shop name is dedicated to wings. Wingman has over 10 flavours of chicken wings to choose from, and they offer a two-hour free-flow deal from 12pm–4pm on weekends. How’s that for a different kind of brunch? For $350 per person, you can enjoy as many marinated chicken wings as you can handle, including flavours like Black Sesame Seafood Honey and Singaporean Crab to Coffee and Carolina Reaper, which is known to be the spiciest sauce in the world. Get your pals together and see if you can chow down on death-defying hot wings!

Wingman, 6/F, 37 Cochrane Street, Central | (+852) 3426 2418

When: Saturdays and Sundays (12pm–2pm, 2pm–4pm)

How much: $350 per person

Coffee Lowa

Coffee Lowa is a chicken wings-themed café run by two youngsters going by the names of「阿毒」(Nerd) and「 求其 」(Whatever). They have been running the café for six years before stumbling upon the idea of a free-flow chicken deal during a round of drinks with friends. They decided to go ahead with a $88 free-flow deal which we are so thankful for, and boy did business turn around! They’re so popular that the chicken wing free-flow deal is extended for dinner times! By Coffee Lowa’s count, an average diner eats around 20–30 wings each, so the owners prepare and fry over a thousand wings every day, with a preparation process that includes defrosting, cleaning, marinating, and frying. Reward their diligent efforts by choosing from four flavours—Salt, Garlic, Spice, and Honey. All wings are made-to-order, and the highest number of wings consumed by one person in a single sitting was capped at 70 wings! Anyone up for breaking that record?

Coffee Lowa, 17/F, Hanway Commercial Centre, 36 Dundas Street, Mong Kok | (+852) 2651 8033

When: Mondays to Saturdays (2pm–6pm, 6pm–8pm, 8pm–10pm)

How much: $88 per person

Lung Mun Café

An order of chicken wings from a regular, no-frills cha chaan teng usually costs around $30–$40, so when Lung Mun Café launched their promotional deal of $20 for free-flow chicken wings, we got on our knees and praised the Lord of Wings! As long as you order any dinner item from 6pm–12.30am, you can add $20 and get a free-flow chicken wings deal with four different flavours (Honey, Pepper, Swiss, and Cumin) to choose from, as well as free-flow Black Truffle Fries

Lung Mun Café, G/F, Circle Tower, 28 Tang Lung Street, Causeway Bay | (+852) 2413 4168

How much: Upon purchase of any iron-plate meal or dinner item, add on $20 for free-flow chicken wings and black truffle fries

Belles Hot Chicken x 22 Ships pop-up

Bonus feature! If you’re a staunch lover of wings, still your beating heart, because Australia’s Belles Hot Chicken is coming to town. This internationally-lauded fried chicken joint will be sending their Nashville hot chicken to 22 Ships to be paired with the best selection of natural wines to wash down the heat. It’s not all just wings though; for three whole days, the restaurant will be dishing out spicy chicken sandwiches, waffles and wings, and more! The pop-up will be in town for dinner on September 27 and brunch on September 28–29, and they won’t be taking reservations, so best arrive early to snag your seats. Can’t make it down in person? Fret not—orders can also be taken from Deliveroo!

22 Ships, 22 Ship Street, Wan Chai | (+852) 2555 0722

When: September 27 (5pm–11pm); September 28 (10am–11pm); September 29 (10am–9pm)
