Tea Ceremony Experience at Maison Huit

Design gallery Maison Huit was founded in 2015 by art collector Mrs Jane Chao-Lee, the gallery hosts exhibitions, workshops, experiences, and present collections such as Japanese ceramics, German porcelain, antique silver, Italian leather goods, etc.

In association with Akio Nukaga's solo exhibition in Hong Kong, Maison Huit will be hosting a Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience workshop on 28 March as an associated event. The workshop will be led by Yuki Futami, a Japanese who lives in Hong Kong has been practising the Japanese way of tea (Chado) in the past 10 years. She is certified by the Nihoncha Instructor Association (Japan) as a tea instructor and is the NIAJ tea ambassador in Hong Kong. The workshop will be conducted in English and Japanese, though Yuki can also speak Mandarin and can understand Cantonese reasonably well.
