Get crafty and create art whilst saving the environment! On the last Sunday of each month from February to April, Bamboa will be hosting a series of ”Paint your Bamboo T-shirt” workshops, where attendees are invited to learn about bamboo and create useful artwork using this wondrous plant.
Just come with an idea of what you want to paint, and they’ll provide the rest! Participants will be working with bamboo fabric as a sustainable alternative to cotton or polyester, as well as durable textile paint that will last multiple washes so you can bring your sketches to life!
There will be family-friendly and adult sessions available (wine will be provided for the grown-ups!), or you can book for a birthday group. $100 of the workshop fee will go towards Bamboa’s Grow Bamboo Initiative, which plants bamboo to combat climate change and support rural communities.
