This summer, experiential learning platform Yum Me Play presents the first Junior Racing Academy at K11 Musea in Hong Kong to inspire and educate the next generation of racers and innovators through the world of formula racing, specially for families with children aged from 3 to 12. Children of Yum Me Play club members will find themselves navigating in the future of speed, techniques, mechanics and everything in between through a series of immersive STEAM learning experiences and activities—not to mention getting their hands on the wheel!
The Junior Racing Academy consists of seven experience zones with numerous interactive and fun-filled learning stations. Not only will children learn the basics of racing evolution, formats and car mechanics, they will also go behind the scenes of the garage and racing tracks to get hands-on experience of designing race cars and competing for the first place. The Academy also helps strengthen parent-child bonds with racing simulations that may bring out the inner child in parents!
Outside of the main experience zones, the Academy sets up an Innovation Lab for children to take a deep dive into the future of racing and learn about the many aspects of it through workshops of STEAM, art, language training, creative writing and more.
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
