A group exhibition curated by Matt Black and Kevin Poon, “Reflections: Partly Fiction” focuses on the concept of telling or portraying a “truth” through the eyes of artists John Armleder, Daniel Crews-Chubb, JPW3, Jordy Kerwick, Leelee Kimmel, Spencer Lewis, Chris Martin, Cristina de Miguel, Julian Schnabel, and Pat Steir. Inspired by the versatility in narrating the idea of art as it is entangled with the capture of the truth around us, the exhibition traverses through each of these 10 paintings’ exploration of what truth means to the aforementioned talent. “Reflections: Partly Fiction” is on display at Woaw Gallery between 19 April to 14 May.
