The French Cinepanorama, Hong Kong French Film Festival (The Festival), is back in town, with an online format and in cinemas! Organised by the Alliance Française de Hong Kong with the support of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, the 49th Hong Kong French Film Festival will run from 25 November to 15 December 2020. Screened both online and in cinemas across the city, the yearly rendezvous will feature a great selection of 40 exciting new French films, including the Sympathy for The Devil, Perfumes, French Tech, The Big Hit, Woman, and many more!
This year, film buffs will also have the chance to meet French directors online! In partnership with Agence France-Presse (AFP), the festival is bringing live discussion panels and special events to the screenings, including post-screening live Q&A sessions for Sympathy For The Devil and Camille with the directors, Guillaume de Fontenay and Boris Lojkine, along with our guest speakers from AFP, Vincent Amalvy (Asia-Pacific photo editor-in-chief) and Philippe Massonnet (Asia Pacific regional director). Check out their website for full programme details and ticket information.
