Beaches in Hong Kong, while free and expansive and beautiful, can get quite crowded and messy on hot summer days. Especially during a pandemic, you may prefer swimming pools with a more hygienic environment. A few hotels in Hong Kong offer day passes to pools that include access to their fitness centres as well, so you can have fun with your family and friends, and take some cute pictures for Instagram while you’re at it. We have rounded up a list of the most gorgeous hotel pools in Hong Kong you can spend a relaxing day at, without having to check in.

Harbour Grand Hong Kong

Just a short five-minute walk from the Fortress Hill MTR station is Harbour Grand Hong Kong, which offers pool day passes ($300) to its 27-metre-long outdoor swimming pool. You can enjoy the breath-taking harbour view while swimming laps back and forth during the day, or even go at night for the stunning city lights.

Harbour Grand Hong Kong’s hotel pool is open from Mondays to Thursdays from 8 am to 8.15 pm, but be mindful that the hotel staff may ask you to step out of the pool from time to time, as they sanitise it every hour for 15 minutes. Their day pass includes access to the locker room and the third-floor gym, but the sauna is currently unavailable and no food or drinks are allowed in the pool. Simply call the hotel to buy your day pass!

Choose from four available sets, where options for mains include sesame & soba noodle salad and a hearty burger, and all of them come with appetisers and desserts while you take in views over Kowloon Bay and Victoria Harbour!

Packages cost $500 on weekdays and $700 on weekends, and visitors can get access to its fitness centre, too. The pool is open from 9 am to 6 pm every day, including public holidays. You can also purchase other pool day passes with Champagne ($1,000) or a 60-minute massage ($1,250). Just call the hotel to buy the day pass!
