Singapore is a city full of sights and wonders, and what better way to appreciate it than from a show-stopping viewpoint. Filled with an abundance of bars, restaurants, and things to see and do, Marina Bay houses some of the hippest rooftop bars to get your tipple from—here are our favourites.

Cé La Vi

The infamous Cé La Vi stands high in the sky, amongst its skyscraper neighbours in the city. People flock here to wine and dine through the evening, and for those looking to splurge, grab a bottle of bubbly. Literally sitting on the top of the Marina Bay Sands Complex, the bar is fitted with luxurious decor and is separated into four parts—a bar, a restaurant, a chill-out lounge, and a poolside terrace. What’s fantastic about it, is that each section offers a stunning display of Singapore in all its glory.

Cé La Vi, 1 Bayfront Avenue. Level 57, Tower 3, Marina Bay Sands, Hotel, Singapore 018971 | (+65) 6508 2188

Lantern Bar

Located within The Fullerton Bay Hotel, Lantern Bar is perched within close proximity of the Marina Bay, offering uninterrupted views of the city and the daily light show (also known as Spectra). Locals and travellers frequent the grounds to make the most of the daily happy hours, running daily from 11.00am to 6.00pm. Some of the most popular cocktails here include the bar’s signature mojitos, a classic Singapore Sling, and the Merlion. Reside by the hotel swimming pool, or peer over the stunning view from the lavish sofas. Sit back and relax—the night has just begun.

Lavo Singapore

Experience the view from 57 stories above ground at Lavo Singapore, a hearty Italian-American restaurant and bar famed for its excellent cuisine and spectacular view. Featuring an indoor and outdoor lounge, the venue boasts a 180-degree panorama of the city lights. Every Saturday, Lavo turns into a club, where a DJ takes over the scene to get the party going and the drinks flowing. Of course, there’s also the Sunday brunch, for something a little tamer.

The Other Roof

For spectacular views of the city, The Other Roof takes you to an expansive, sky-high space, with a selection of over 300 tea spirits and cocktails to choose from. Founder Dario Knox dreamed up the concept of “cocktail hours meet tea”, where guests are invited to sip on refreshing alcoholic mixers or simply drink tea. Grab a snack too, if you’re feeling peckish.

LeVel33

Soaring 33 floors up, LeVel33 is not your average bar. The rooftop microbrewery offers beautiful views of Marina Bay from its doorstep, putting together two unique attributes—the impressive house-brewed craft beers with the show-stopping cityscape. Beer lovers can order whatever they please, from pale ales to dark stouts. Down some refreshing beers with a side of pub food—the sweet baby back ribs and wings are crowd favourites.

Kinki Restaurant and Bar

With its own rooftop bar, Kinki Restaurant redefines modern Japanese cuisine. Its drinks list takes inspiration from the East and West, to be enjoyed in an open-air space which showcases the elegant Marina Bay skyline and waterfront. Guests typically come here for the food, then spend the evening at the rooftop bar, to sip on sake or a range of refreshing cocktails.

1-Altitude

Split over three levels—a café, bar, and gallery, 1-Altitude is perched 282 metres above sea level and features 360-degree views of the city. The drinks here are just as noteworthy, with homemade classics using their own brand. As the world’s highest al-fresco bar, the venue is easily amongst the best bars in Singapore, and not just because of its unparalleled views. Soak in the warm sunset whilst listening to the extensive line-ups of live bands and DJs—you can dance all night against a photo worthy backdrop.
