The 13th Shek O Challenge is Back and There's Prize Money up for Grabs

It’s that glorious time of year again when open water swimming is back on the radar. The 13th Shek O Challenge will take place on July 8 offering the following options: 1) Classic 2.2km open water swim, run and paddle race – these can be completed solo, team of 2 or a Trisolothon 2) 13th-anniversary special: 
  • Pair up for the Half & Half option – a team of two where swimmer one swims 1.1km to a midway boat, and swimmer two takes over for the remaining 1.1km. The boat will bring all first swimmers to the beach for the after party
  • Form a Quad Squad – a team of four where all four swim together for a combined total time
3) 600m Kids swim at the Back Beach   [su_note note_color="#ffd88a" radius="0"]

Tell me about the money

For the super competitive folk – the stakes have been upped and there will be prize money! Overall male and female swimmer will receive $5,000! The BBQ party at the Back Beach will be the usual good time, so don’t hesitate to get on the Early Bird offer, open until April 30 2017, to sign up and secure your spot. [/su_note]
