Couples who run together, stay together – or so they say! Well, now's your chance to find out as The Trail Hub Valentine's Day Race returns to gets hearts racing this February 9.

Organised by The Trail Hub, the race challenges partners to complete one of two trails in Pui O. The Easy Love trail is a new course which covers 9km of beautiful natural scenery along Pui O Wan, and requires a few small climbs with 300m of elevation gain. Meanwhile, the Tough Love route challenges couples to cover 14km of ground with 700m of elevation gain, tackling hills and stairs while taking in the stunning views from the Chi Ma Wan hill, Lo Yan Shan.

Starting and finishing at Treasure Island on Pui O Beach, each team must be made up of two members and both runners must complete the whole trail together – so no arguing lovebirds! Teams that accidentally go off course or don't follow the markers will also be disqualified – so no cheating either. Entry to the race costs $498 per team and there are six different categories to choose from (Men's Team, Women's Team, Mixed Team, Mum & Me, Dad and Me, and Auntie & Me) with prizes for the top team in each category. According to the organisers, the race is suitable for all fitness levels, catering to those who want an easy ride and those who are thirsty for a challenge. So, are you up for it? Great. Now all you need to do is convince your sweet Valentine to join you and register before February 2. And if they need some convincing, then maybe these loved-up couples from previous years will help...
