Competition: Party on a Tram with Hong Kong's Hottest Instagrammers

If you love Hong Kong's beloved trams, talented Instagrammers, and love to party, then now is your chance to combine all three passions and enter the iDiscover Ding Ding Photo Competition to win tickets to an exclusive tram party with some of the city's best known urban snappers.

Organised by iDiscover, the local start-up which creates handy maps and apps to show you around our city, the competition invites Hongkongers to find the most Insta-worthy spots along the tramline that make our city beautiful and unique. This shouldn't be a problem, given we have so many! There are two categories of submission to choose from: 1) Your tram journey experience, and 2) Your authentic Hong Kong discovery along the tramline. To enter, simply upload your photo to Instagram before September 22, indicate the chosen category, and tag @idiscoverapp and @hktramways, #iDiscoverDingDing and #hktramways. You also need to make sure your account is public. After all, you'll want to be showing the world your epic snap! Well known Instagrammers Kevin @kingymak and Jeremy @rambler15 will be the jury who decide on eight winners for each category. These lucky eight will be invited to attend an exclusive tram party onboard the iDiscover tram 172 on Friday, 28 September, where they will host a pop-up mobile exhibition and share their favourite shots over local snacks and drinks. Each winner will also get an iDiscover HK Neighbourhood Guide, a beautiful collection of eight locally designed neighbourhood maps, plus two adult tickets to the TramOramic Tour. Need some inspiration? To help contestants along the way, iDiscover has created iDiscover Ding Ding, a map with an app that shows 50 authentic spots in eight neighbourhoods along the tramline. Also make sure to keep an eye out for the iDiscover tram which will be making its way along the line all throughout September. Happy snapping, people!
