We all know that men can be a little tricky to buy for - especially dads. With this in mind, we've come up with five unique gift ideas to help put a smile on your old man's face this June 19. So ditch the socks and cufflinks, and make it a day to remember.

1. Customise Some Beer

If your dad is a bit of a Homer Simpson, then he'll love spending the afternoon at The Pulse. This Father's Day, the luxury shopping mall is partnering with Belgian craft brewery, The Artist, and inviting you to customise your own beer packaging as a lovely surprise for papa. Take a photo at The Artist's signature tricycle and bring home your personalised craft beer, which comes in three flavours - Blonde Beer, White Beer, and Raspberry Beer. The service and the beer are both free if you spend over $300 in the mall, but on a first-come first-served basis, so get in there quick. The fun doesn't stop there either, with free unlimited popcorn for little ones to crunch on, a beer-themed balloon for dad, and the chance for football kids to show off their ball skills (and even bag a prize or two!) at the Soccer Street Show. Score!  When: June 18, Customised Beer (4pm - 6pm); Soccer Street Show (2pm - 3pm) Where: The Pulse, 28 Beach Road, Repulse Bay, (+852) 2815 8888 How much: Free (you spend over $300 in the mall) Click here for more information

2. Take Him Racing

If your dad is a bit of a speed junky then he'll lap up the chance to hop on the 15 networked racing simulators at Sideways (Driving Club). Let papa blow off some steam as he experiences what it feels like to be in a real race car on the circuit, and become a Formula One champion. As a special Father's Day treat, the club is inviting the whole family to enjoy a special deal where you can buy dad a race and his wife and child get 50% off on driving. Which parent is a better driver? Only one way to find out. When: June 19, (10am - 6pm) Where: Sideways (Driving Club), LG/F, 1-2 Chancery Lane, Central, (+852) 2523 0983 How much: 1 hour Session $400 / 1.5 hour session $575 / 2 hour session $700 Click here to book ahead

According to Brickhouse's Chef Danny, who created the recipe, the steak is some of the best he's ever sourced for the restaurant's Premium Range. However, if a burger is the way to your pop's heart, then go for the zesty Free-range Chicken-Bacon Peri Peri Burger with Side Salad. Dads who can handle the heat will love the Tuna Tacos with Fresh Guacamole & Signature Chilli-Parm Corn - as one of Secret Ingredient's most popular dishes, this is sure to spice up your night.
