The birth of Princess Charlotte was the catalyst for the latest marketing push (push!!!!) from British Airways. Thanks to the little bundle of royal joy, the airline is giving FREE flights for infants traveling from Hong Kong to London. So now Brits have no reason not to visit grandma and grandpa back home.
The offer is valid for families traveling with children under the age of two and is valid for travel before December 31, 2015 (but you must book before June 1, 2015). Older travelers can enjoy a 10 percent discount on tickets in World Traveller economy and World Traveller Plus premium economy cabins to London, the UK, and Europe.
What better excuse to bring your own little bundle for a stroll through the iconic Hyde Park or relax in The Green Park, right next to Buckingham Palace.
Just be thankful that your kid won't have to fly in a 'skycot' from the 1950s like the poor baby pictured above. On long-haul flights, there is now a child-friendly menu, which parents can book free of charge in advance, as well as entertainment packs.
