Summer is already halfway over, and while Hong Kong has plethora of options for city dwellers to spend their summer holidays fruitfully, a relaxing brunch is surely everyone’s favourite activity regardless of the season. From dim sum offerings and tiki-themed delights to your classic late-morning starters, here are the best seasonal brunches to try in Hong Kong this summer.

Jiangsu Club

Take your Sunday morning dim sum meal to the next level with Jiangsu Club’s Weekend Splash dim sum brunch! Included in the menu is a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes alongside four new offerings. We particularly enjoyed the crispy and flavourful deep-fried shrimp, seaweed, and cheese roll, the mini wonton with fresh coconut soup, as well as the revamped classic fried dumpling with diced abalone. To make the brunch “splash,” diners can elevate their meal with an added 90 minutes of free-flow champagne or rosé.

A selection of sharing plates is also available to complete your experience. We recommend the dried tofu with Shanghainese wild vegetable, a unique dish highlighting kalimeris—a popular ingredient in Shanghainese cuisine—as well as the Hangzhou-style sautéed shrimp and diced chicken with assorted vegetables which best represents the region’s comfort food. Jiangsu Club’s brunch requires a minimum of four diners, so grab your friends and book now!
