Celebrating the 50th anniversary of WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust), they will be arranging their first-ever global Wine Education Week taking place from 9 – 15th September. The week celebrates the diversity, taste and culture of the world of wine with a programme of interactive events, all of which are focused on learning about and enjoying wines from across the globe. This fun and sensory Hong Kong food and wine pairing masterclass will explore the synergy between simple food groups and specific wines.
Ever wondered why a fruity white wine with high acidity goes well with Thai food? How a full-bodied red wine with high tannins interacts with saltier dishes? And what kind of food complements a sweet Sauternes wine?
