Sustainable Chinese New Year art installation at The Mills

By Localiiz 9 February 2021

Event Information

START DATE 09 Feb 2021
END DATE 28 Feb 2021
The Mills, 45 Pak Tin Par Street, Tsuen Wan
(+852) 3979 2300

The Mills, one of Hong Kong’s most popular cultural landmark, is presenting a creative art installation along with Swire Coca-Cola HK to advocate sustainability and welcome a new year of hope and challenges. The innovative Chinese New Year installation features over five hundred iconic Coca-Cola® crates and returnable glass bottles arranged as a giant maze leading visitors to a stunning peach blossom tree in the centre where they can make New Year wishes and take some memorable photos.

Following OrangeTerry’s success with The Mills’ recent instagrammable floating Christmas tree, the social designer is back again to give recycled materials a second life, transforming collected junk and unwanted wooden pieces into colourful hanging ornaments.

In addition to festive decorations, The Mills Shopfloor has also prepared a range of attractive offers and gift redemptions to celebrate Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day!
