Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Asia’s largest design shopping platform Pinkoi is hosting “Pinkoi Design Fest 2021 Hong Kong”, its first mega event in Hong Kong. Under the theme “10 Times Better Me,” the market-popup-exhibition hybrid extravaganza hopes to encourage visitors to discover and love themselves as they ring in the merriest time of the year. Visitors will receive a special-edition tote bag, cookies from Patisserie La Lune, and IKEA food vouchers, available in limited quantities and on a first-come-first-serve basis.
From 19 to 21 November Pinkoi Design Fest 2021 brings to the CIC-Zero Carbon Park a cashless design market that hopes to improve lives with design. Among the highlights is an audio-visual experience in collaboration with Hong Kong multi-media artist XCEPT. Dubbed “Kaitouyoku by XCEPT,” the collaboration is redolent of the soothing seas. Also not to be missed is Japanese illustrator Noritake’s works that pay tribute to Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo.
The world-famous Hello Kitty will make a special appearance at Pinkoi for the first time ever! The Pinkoi x Hello Kitty Zone will be featured at the design festival, with ample Instagrammable spots for fans to take festive snaps with the adorable kitty. The Miffy Pop-up Store will also make a much-anticipated comeback to bring goodies from around the world right to your fingertips!
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
