A yearly Italian charity bazaar hosted by the Italian Woman’s Association, “Il Mercatino di Iwa” is set to take place on Sunday, 14 November 2021 at Central’s PMQ. Traditionally held at the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital in Sandy Bay Road, this year’s fair will be changing locations due to the Covid-19 restrictions, moving to the central courtyard of the prestigious revitalised building in Central.
Bringing together Hong Kong’s local and international communities for a special day of fun and to support those in need, the annual market will be held from 10.30 am to 6.30 pm. Visitors are invited to discover a broad variety of men, women, kids and babies clothing, sunglasses, accessories, leather shoes, home appliances, makeup, stationery and much more!
All proceeds from the market will be donated to Hong Kong’s registered charities, including Branches of Hope, Christian Action, Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation, Home Care for Girls, Missionaries of Charity-Sisters of Mother Teresa, The Society for the Relief of Disabled Children, to name a few.
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
