Swap your clothes for a whole new wardrobe! As seasons change, most of us will want to give our wardrobe a little refresh without throwing out our old clothes and adding to the overflowing landfills in Hong Kong. Take Out Plastic is hosting regular clothes swap events in Hong Kong, so you can change your wardrobe without hurting the planet. We’ve quality-checked it for you, and can guarantee the items you’ll find there are not only in great condition, but also super stylish.

First, go through your own wardrobe for anything you would like to swap, including clothes, shoes, accessories, and bags. You can bring up to 10 items, which will go through a quality check. For each item in good condition, you will receive a token for swapping at the event. If any of your clothes are rejected, you can take them home, or the team can donate them to Refugee Union on your behalf.

Take Out Plastic’s next Top Swop will be held from 1 to 2 June at The Hive in Sheung Wan. From 11 am till 6 pm, you can bring your clothes and rotate your wardrobe, with a special menswear-focused session held on Saturday from 2 pm till 5 pm. In addition to the regular clothes swap, you can use your token credit to purchase luxury pre-owned items from Jhrop. It costs $85 if you purchase your tickets in advance, and $100 at the door.
