The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau is pleased to announce the third edition of “The Night of Ideas” (in French: Nuit des Idées) in Hong Kong. Under the theme of “The Revolution of Sharing”, this free and festive community-oriented event will take place from 4:00 to 9:30 pm on Saturday, 18th January 2020 at Saint James’ Settlement, Wan Chai.
Launched in 2016 at the initiative of the French government, “the Night of Ideas” brings together leading international thinkers, scientists and artists across the five continents to ponder on world major challenges, during one night.In the year of 2020, for its 3rd edition, “the Night of Ideas” will focus on social innovation and discuss how it can empower our society. the Consulate General of France will mirror social and environmental experiments in France and Hong Kong, in the hope of building a sustainable dialogue between civil societies under the topic.
