MQ Musical Theatre and Ponte Orchestra are teaming up to present a pop concert-style musical in August. “The Magic of Musicals” consists of popular musical masterpieces selected from renowned Hong Kong and Broadway musicals and movies. There will be singing, dancing, live orchestra performances, LED screens, and lighting effects for the audience to enjoy.
Crisel Consunji, the Best New Performer awardee of the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards, is joined by singer-actor William Hu, singer-songwriter Jonathan Wong, international artist and singer Sean Oliver, and the Ponte Orchestra. The musical will tell the story of two protagonists who share a love for musicals. When they meet, they pursue their dreams of singing and dancing.
