Exercise plays an important role in preventing and treating mental health problems, but did you know that 80 percent of Hongkongers do not achieve the recommended levels of physical activity?
To raise awareness of how exercise impacts physical and mental health, Mind Hong Kong (Mind HK) is back running it’s “Move it for Mental Health“ (#MoveItHK) campaign for the fourth time. This year’s campaign, supported by Here to Be, lululemon’s social impact program, challenges Hong Kongers to complete 50 kilometres in nature from 1 to 28 February 2021. Participants who complete and log 50 kilometres will be eligible for a prize.
In line with this campaign, Mind HK will be launching its new sports and mental health training, as well as hosting a webinar featuring personal mental health stories. To get involved, visit www.moveithk.com to learn more and sign up for the “50km Nature Challenge!“
Covering the hottest new eats, the best places to play, offbeat takes on local culture, and so much more, Localiiz is every Hongkonger’s destination for how to live a well-rounded life in our vibrant city. Why the strange spelling? Well, Localiiz is designed to be your “local eyes”—and for that, you need two i’s.
