Summer may be ending soon but don’t let that stop you from sweating and dancing! “Iris,” Hong Kong’s largest fitness and wellness festival, is back! To make the festival’s first return in 2021 stronger than ever, Hybrid Group, W Hong Kong, and Apoidea Media are collaborating for the first time and proudly present an all-new fitness and wellness concept—“Iris: Fitness,” bringing you an energetic and stress-relieving weekend of interactive sports experiences and fun performances!
Established in 2015, “Iris” is the largest fitness and wellness festival in Hong Kong, gathering more than 6,000 sports and health enthusiasts every year. For the first time, “Iris: Fitness” has designed a wild range of 2.5 hour training sessions for a non-stop fitness and wellness extravaganza experience, plus dynamic performances in one go! Allowing the participants to not only enjoy “Iris” with air-conditioning on full blast, but also the stunning and picturesque Victoria Harbour side view.
There are a total of six delicately curated sessions by the “Iris” team. Each session will include a 45 to 60 minutes yoga or fitness class along with a host of fun-filled and mind-blowing entertainment and performances. Other than yoga, this year’s “Iris: Fitness” aims to provide the hottest and creative sports experience for the participants by adding in multiple innovative fitness lessons such as kickbox-HIIT and afrobeats dance. Fan-favourite celebrity instructors such as Alex Lam, Utah Lee, and recent dance champion Anisha Thai have been invited to lead these sessions in person!
Fun and dynamic performances will be brought to you by remarkable local talents such as award-winning K-Pop style dance crew Saga Dance Crew, Hong Kong’s one and only Beat-Capella band Saliva Music, gorgeous British saxophone player Joshua, and professional elites from the famous fitness centre XP Fitness Hub. These performances perfectly combined elements like sports, music and choreography, creating a refreshing experience for participants!
