After a hiatus of five years, Sake Walk is back for the enjoyment of sake connoisseurs and amateurs alike! A series of sake masterclass held in Landmark’s dining destinations will welcome experts from renowned Japanese sake breweries, presented in collaboration with Jebsen Wines & Spirits. Participants can learn about the sake brewing process, the variety of sakes, and enjoy sake tasting experiences paired with canapés. Sign up here.

Exporing Yamanashi Prefecture” will take place on 6 April at Ami and will be led by Kento Ishihara of Shichiken and Rei Amano of Dan. Focused on the unique sake produced in the Yamanashi prefecture in Japan, participants will have the opportunity to compare sake from the eighteenth and the twentieth century.

Savouring Seasonality with Limited Edition Sake” will take place on 12 April at Somm and will be led by Shigeaki Yoneyama of Eiko Fuji. Centred around the historic sake brewery, now in thirteenth-generation hands, this masterclass will present five prestigious sakes, including two limited editions.

Sake Ensemble, an Exquisite Fusion” will take place on 26 and 27 April at The Aubrey and will be led by Tomonori Morikawa of Morikawa Shuzo. A tasting of six bottles from four different breweries (Hakuko, Shichiken, Senkin, and Takizawa) is part of the tasting session, and this masterclass will present all the different aspects of sake brewing and the drink’s flavour profiles.

Unveil Rare Gems on Sado Island,” will take place on 27 April at Kaen Teppanyaki and will be led by Takeshi Hirashima and Rumiko Obata of the Obata brewery, spotlighting Obata’s Manotsuru sake, coming from Sao Island in Niigata. Participants will get to try four different sakes from the collection.

All throughout April, special sake menus will be on offer at Ami, Somm, and The Aubrey to coincide with Landmark Sake Walk 2024. Book your table here.
