Springbok Wines and Madame Fù are joining hands once again to host a wine dinner experience on 29 September, celebrating the unlikely but brilliant pairing of South African wines with Cantonese cuisine! Six wines have been expertly paired to six courses by sommelier Michael Ko to compliment the authentic Cantonese cuisine prepared by the team at Madame Fù.
Not your average wine dinner, this is a live, interactive, informative, and entertaining event. Each wine is presented with the story behind the estate, an understanding of the varietal and what to look for in the glass. Each meal pairing is explained and presented by the head sommelier or chef, enhancing the experience and allowing you to get the most from the pairing.
Look forward to relishing De Grendel Cap Classique Proposal Hill Brut Rosé 2016 with crystal shrimp dumpling and smoked beancurd roll with shitake mushroom and carrots, Spioenkop 1900 Pinotage 2018 with Peking duck, Swerwer Red Blend 2019 alongside braised E-Fu noodles with black truffle sauce, just to name a few.
