Looking to give your little ones a solid head start in life through bilingualism? German Swiss International School (GSIS) offers a bilingual kindergarten programme in its German International Stream based at its Pokfulam Campus with no entry assessment nor any prior German language proficiency requirements. They are hosting a virtual open day on Monday, 19 April 2021, offering prospective families a chance to gain insight into the immersive programme.

Within the programme, the German/English and German/Mandarin classes are very popular with a diverse mix of nationalities. They aim to develop the specific skills a child needs to successfully transition to the next step of their education at GSIS’s primary school based in the Peak. Learning in the GSIS is all about discovery, opportunities, excitement and the joy of learning, which is why all concepts are taught playfully through rhymes, songs, movement and colourful games. Through this child-centred, holistic approach of learning through play, each child is given the space to develop their individuality and learn at their own pace.

To learn more about the German International Stream’s bilingual kindergarten programme, register for its virtual open house event and tune in on 19 April 2021 at 2 pm. Limited spaces are available for the 2021/22 school year, so don’t miss out!
