Hong Kong Phil Presents: Mahler’s Mighty Third

Filling the Concert Hall with Mahler’s epic Third Symphony, the Mahler’s Mighty Third performances will continue Hong Kong Philharmonic’s two-year long celebration of this late-Romantic, Austrian composer’s work. This time, mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor and The Hong Kong Children’s Choir will join the orchestra on stage under the baton of Jaap Van Zweden.

The Wonderful World of Disney on Ice

It’s time brush up on your birdies, bogeys, and eagles, because the 58th edition of the UBS Hong Kong Open is coming to the Hong Kong Golf Club this weekend. Spectators can hop on complimentary shuttle bus services from Sheung Shui MTR, Central, and Kowloon Tong to reach the club, where there will be live music, entertainment, and a festive visit from Santa –  not to mention a star-studded lineup of players, including Olympic gold medalist Justin Rose, on the green.

Horny Party

Not like that! Reindeer antlers and other festive accessories are the designated dress code for the Fringe Club’s Horny Party, with free admission for those who wear red or white. Alice in Wonderland

A refreshing adaptation of the classic tale Alice in Wonderland will be performed by Canadian theatre company Tout à Trac in Hong Kong City Hall over the weekend. This time round, Wonderland is not a garden, but a library of books with a new adventure on every page. Off with their heads!

Fish For Trash: Aberdeen Harbour Clean Up

SCAD Workshop Day

Prospective art and design students will leap at the chance to tour the beautiful SCAD Hong Kong university campus this Saturday. Offering courses in fashion, photography, visual effects, and more, this Sham Shui Po campus boasts a whole range of exciting resources, including digital labs and darkrooms.
