It’s the luck of the Irish this St. Paddy’s Day, as Punchline Comedy presents not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Irish comedians, for the price of one!
You can guarantee a barrel of laughs with this St Patrick’s Special All Irish Show featuring hilarious duo, Totally Wired!, Ian Coppinger and Colm O’Regan, who are performing over three nights at the Tamarind. But you best hurry as their Friday and Saturday shows are ALREADY sold out!
Totally Wired! are Ireland’s oldest & least successful boy band! Using a mixture of music comedy – or “Museomedy” – they have been dubbed “Ireland’s answer to the Flight of the Concords” by The Irish Times (think Morecambe and Wise meets Tenacious D).
Appearing at Electric Picnic The Vodafone Comedy festival Iveagh Gardens, Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, The Cat Laughs Body & Soul, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Totally Wired! are no strangers to festivals, and their comedic CV doesn’t end there! Having appeared on The Republic of Telly, Expose, The Savage Eye, 7 0’Clock Show, RTÉs New Comedy Awards, and contributing to various radio shows on RTE Radio 1 (Arena) and Today FM Spin, you can guarantee this unique and hilarious act are going to tickle some funny bones
Described as “the funniest human being to have existed anywhere ever” by Hot Press, it’s not even worth risking missing this act! Coppinger is a regular on the world comedy circuit having played to packed houses at the Edinburgh, Melbourne, Montreal Just For Laughs, Galway, Electric Picnic, Glastonbury, Glasgow, Dublin, Adelaide, Perth, and Wellington comedy festivals.
He is also one of a handful of acts who has been invited back year after year to perform at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival since 1995 and has performed throughout Europe, North America, and the Middle and Far East, so you can guarantee he’ll have something to suit all tastes.
Colm O’Regan is a critically acclaimed stand-up comedian, columnist and broadcaster! He has performed all over the world from Tokyo to Tallaght, New York to Cape Town, and various bits in between as well as two Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. He is a National Radio Awards Winner for his RTÉ Radio 1 show, Colm O’Regan Wants a Word.
Colm also writes a weekly column for the Irish Examiner and is a columnist with RTE Radio 1’s Drivetime, BBC World Service’s In The Balance, and BBC World News’ Talking Business. He runs the @irishmammies Twitter account with over 222,000 followers, which was the inspiration behind his previous three bestselling books of Irish Mammies. His latest bestselling book is called Bolloxology and offers good humoured rants about the modern world.
