In four short films, a London-based production company is taking a look at the tradesmen of Hong Kong and how their craft is slowly fading away. The first video introduces us to Peter Ma, a vintage electronics and mechanical repairman in Sham Shui Po.
"Maybe not working 10 or 20 years, but after fix, they are working again," Ma says in the video.

Produced by
Ichikoo Films, the short films are actually mini biopics featuring a bird seller, the villagers of Tai O, and a maker of mahjong pieces. According to Ichikoo, the videos were "mainly shot in Sham Shui Po, Tai O floating village, Yuen Po Street Bird Garden, and Hung Hom where old craftsmen ply their trades in the shadow of Hong Kongs' rampant urban development."
